If you only looked this far, it wouldn't seem so bad. So what if I have no idea what's in half those bins. Out of sight, out of mind.
Okay, so maybe I'm part of the problem. This is the shelf where we keep toys, sporting equipment, gardening tools, and supplies from a business I stopped doing over a year ago.
Here, next to the gas can, we have the box to the stereo system my husband bought five years ago. Just in case we need to return it.
Here is the windsurf board, a relic from the pre-kid days of wind, water, willpower, and wallet. (Those are the 4 Ws of windsurfing.) My husband has fantasies of setting it up in the yard and teaching the kids to sail. He also likes to Ripstick. Anyone see a trip to the ER in the near future?
And my personal favorite.... Among the many things my beloved holds onto, we have a wide assortment of nuts, bolts, screws, and nails of all lengths and widths. They are organized in various containers. Notice the Enfamil tin? My son is ten years old.
Parent Bloggers Network is looking for stories about mancaves and the stuff we just can't let go of. You can win $100 from Bill Me Later. It's a sweet deal - IF you dare to share!

You crazy Crazy Lady! I crack up everytime I read this! That was such a fun night! You were drawn to the gun cabinet like a magnet! EVERY woman needs a good man trailer! I think beer and video games are part of the entertainment menu out there.
Know anyone that would like a Mexican hat lazy susan? That was the one and only time we used that bad boy and I would hate to mess up his garage...
For about fifteen years I toted a box of college and law school books from house to house. Not that I ever would read them, or even touched them, but they made the trip every time I moved.
