This is where I lived as a child. Okay, not literally. In fact, this picture was taken in Arkansas, but it looks enough like my home state of Washington that it could have been taken at the park where I spent hours swimming in the creek, walking alone in the woods, and working out my adolescent angst to the music of the waterfalls. Now I take my kids to the woods every chance I get, which is not often enough.
